Respect ME is an international PSHE project offering a unique and complementary approach to relationships and self-esteem education.

High Quality RSE Education

Our passionate team of tutors are trained to deliver high quality RSE education to pupils in Key Stage 3-5 after completing the ‘Teaching Relationships & Sex Education’ course provided by the Esteem Nework.

Respect ME has Christian values at its heart and seeks to equip, empower, & build up young people to be the best they can be, breaking down the lies of the media to help them understand their value, giving them a hope and a future.

The impact of these courses is exceptional. Pupils gain the confidence to explore these matters openly and intelligently… Pupils’ behaviour, attendance and well-being increases and they begin to achieve more in school.

Key Concepts

RSE is now a compulsory part of secondary education. We believe we are uniquely placed to provide RSE and PSHE education that cares for the whole child, promoting a healthy sense of self, positive mental health and emotional wellbeing. All of our tutors are fully trained by Esteem. All our lessons include signposting to sources of information and support.

Respect ME lessons help schools address the key concepts all young people need to learn during this time:

Families
Respectful relationships

including friendships

Online & media

the opportunities, challenges and risks of life online

Being safe

key aspects of the law regarding Relationships & Sex Education, personal safety and how to maintain mental health & emotional wellbeing

Intimate & sexual relationships

All our lessons help schools:

  • Comply with DfE guidance on delivery of RSE

  • Meet the PSHE Association’s core themes of Health & Wellbeing, Relationships & Living in the Wider World for KS3-5

  • Address Ofsted recommendations for delivery of SMSC, RSHE, Personal Development & aspects of Citizenship Education

Working with external organisations can enhance delivery of these subjects, bringing in specialist knowledge & different ways of engaging with young people.

(DfE Statutory Guidance on RSE)

Respect ME delivered a highly engaging and relevant session to our students on a Christian perspective on sex and relationships. Using a combination of her own powerful story, multimedia clips and group discussion, she empowered students to challenge their own perceptions and make wise choices for their future.
