Project 5 is Respect ME’s main package offering five age-appropriate, interactive and engaging lessons for pupils in KS3-4. We are passionate that young people receive excellent PSHE and RSE education that provides information and tools to empower them for the reality of their lives.
Our goal is to journey with pupils during their time at school, developing a relationship of trust between young people and school staff. We understand that feelings and emotions change as we mature, so themes of healthy relationships and respect are revisited across Project 5 lessons. This promotes deeper learning that moves from broad concepts to practical application, encouraging positive personal behaviour in relationships and social contexts. We believe experience builds empathy and insight, so many of our tutors share personal stories of hope around each of our topics.
Each lesson is delivered as an interactive media presentation including games, facts and stats and key aspects of the law. All lessons can be delivered to a single class right up to a whole year group and where possible we provide both a male and female tutor. Our lessons require a minimum delivery time of 60 minutes, though 90 minutes to 2 hours allow for a more comprehensive discussion and Q&A time.
Project 5 lessons can be delivered to year groups other than those specified and can be made more context appropriate in discussion with your regional tutor.
